i walked out of walmart when i was back in automotive with a pair of hunting boots that i forgot to pay for because i got sidtracked by a phone call on my cell and didnt realize it for like a housr, then i called them and said i took a pair of hunting boots and that i would be back to pay for them and i told them who i was and they said no problem it happened before just come back in today and pay for them, however i had some other things to do so i didnt go right back then i went home and there was a police officer in my driveway, and thats what they were there for, i explained to him what happened and he said he seen me on the phone from the video, and he believed me but exactly how did he know were i live, the only thing i can think of is when i left automotive there were a couple of walmart assosiates right there and never said nothing to me about paying for the boots,but one of them followed me out the door and just stood there and watched me get into the vechicle, which was parked just right so you could see the license plate and he was on the phone however at the time never even thought about it cause at the time i didnt think i was doing anything wrong cause i honestly forgot and now the cop gave me a appearence ticket for the end of this month, somthing sounds fishiny is that even legal for walmart to do what ever they did for a cop to show up at my place irregardless if i meant to or not hopfully someone has a good answer cause it was an honest mistake and i think im getting screwed or going to get screwed
