what's the DEAL with this GUY FRIEND?!?
This guy I work with and I have been spending more time together because of a work-related project. We come from different backgrounds and our religions are opposite. He is an avid activist for his religion and I know he doesn't like "my people".
However, lately, all he wants to talk about with me is my religion. He keeps asking questions about our beliefs, and keeps making jokes and puns out of Jewish words. He's not trying to convert me or anything, but he won't get off the religion topic everytime we're together.
This past week, he was teasing me about something so I playfully punched his arm lightly and he pulled me in and half wrestled/half hugged me for about 30 seconds. That night we spent an hour texting each other back and forth, and he was teasing and being playful in the texts. This is entirely new, because we never used to speak like that to each other.
Last night, we were going to a party and on the way there, i told him about a date I went on that afternoon. He started grilling me about the date, teasing me about it, which I just think is him being a friend. However, he wouldn't get off the topic and said things like "we're gonna find you a boyfriend at this party" and "why don't you just date guys at our college?"
What gives?........
